FaceTime!

The ability to visually engage and communicate with someone outside of one’s immediate vicinity, thereby bridging the distance gap through the avenue of technology is one of the amazing wonders of the world. The real-time auditory and visual capture of one’s friend, loved one, colleague or other affiliate permits mutual access into one another’s immediate environment, allows synchronization so that no time or information is lost, and enables the sharing of experiences to such an extent as to simulate one’s physical presence in the other’s space; tactile, nasal and gustatory sensations being the only experiences elusive to the party(ties) on the other end of each connecting device.

Before the advent of modern-day technology (the trailblazer for these mechanized immersive experiences), the Bible described and prescribed similar but superlative ancient technology that produces superior effects and experiences in transcendent realms1 – without requiring physical devices. Like FaceTime and other proprietary technology, this telecommunication method utilizes a liaising interface secured by end-to-end encryption2 that offers the distinct advantage of running on a completely impenetrable operating system. It boasts an impregnable firewall3 that guarantees protection against all malware, decryption attempts, and other cybersecurity threats.4 This consummate version of FaceTime is a superior technology deployed by the quintessential Developer and applied by the tech-savvy end-user5 in various scenarios such as those described below.

~ David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem.Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.15

~ I saw … the appearance of his loins  …This was … the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face.16

~ Behold, the glory of the Lord stood there … and I fell on my face.17

~ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.27
